Coming Back Online

Ok, we’re finally on the new server now. Now for some notes and the updates:

Notes:

  • I’m a bit unsure at this point about what the njoe@njoe.com e-mail address will become. It’s currently “down” and *will* be changing to something else…at this point I’m a but unsure. Expect an update in either a few minutes or within a few days regarding what the new e-mail is. Same thing goes for cg@njoe.com - check the Crossed Galaxies page for an update on that web addess.
  • CG will probably be moving; with any luck it’ll move to an easier-to-remember address: cg.njoe.com.
  • Again, sorry about the lack of updates…I really wanted to get the new server working before I sent new info up and that took longer than I thought between school and waiting for replies to my help e-mails.
  • If you got to the site, you probably then notice the 9-11 tribute on the main page. :) I felt it was necessary.
  • Oh yea; Ylesia - an NJO eBook that occurs *during* Destiny’s Way has been released.
  • One thing on my list of things to fix and redo is the Archives page - it needs help…
  • Another thing on that list is to fix, find, or remove the sections that are down in the Yuuzhan Vong battles.

Updates:

  • I updated the Coming Soon page; I’m not sure if it’s all correct, but I got some things off that needed to be removed.
  • Added our new web host - Oasis Hosting to the links page.
  • Updated the Sources page.
  • Book Summaries: LOTS of updates: Rebel Stand, The Apprentice - a short story from Elaine Cunningham, Emissaries of the Void - a short story in 10 installments by Greg Keyes from Star Wars: Gamer (in progress), and of course, perhaps the most talked about NJO book since Vector Prime, Traitor.
  • Updated the credits page. I NEED WRITERS for the following sections: New Republic Technology, New Republic Battles, Imperial Remnant/Chiss Characters, Dictionary. When applying for these, realize that I’m started to get upset with people who sign up and seem really enthused to be working on the project, but I never hear from them again. NJOE is NOT an easy project to coordinate, and each section is not easy to do - before applying, look at your life and determine if you have the time and effort to write, from scratch, a high quality section.
