In light of the recent news of author Aaron Allston’s (Outcast, Betrayal, Exile, Fury, Rebel Dream, Rebel Stand, too many X-Wing novels to count…) recent heart attack and surgery, news team member corax made the suggestion of some kind of get well card from the NJOE membership. On that idea, the NJOE administrative team was off and running to develop the “Get Well” Project – a massive and coordinated effort to send our well wishes to the man who has brought us so many exciting adventures in the past and hopefully many more in the future.

We’re going to collect handwritten well-wishes from fans across the world and send them to Mr. Allston as a bulk package. If you are interested in getting involved, all you need to do is open and print this PDF document that includes all relevant instructions, the required space for you to write your message, and the address to mail your message to. It is our hope that this becomes a worldwide display of our collective thoughts and prayers, wishing him a speedy recovery. So download the form, tell you friends, and get it in the mail: there is a very short deadline to receive your messages in order for us to send them to Mr. Allston in a timely manor, they must be post-marked by Saturday, April 11th.
