A party is in midst for the Voyager crew as its youngest member prepares to celebrate her first year of life, and the whole crew is involved in the planning. In the process B’Elanna learns what it is to have both a demanding career and a budding family. Meanwhile the Doctor delves deep into the collective life sciences to discover the what was known in the 24th century as The Phenomenon, but in the 21st century it is known merely as ” The Force.”
